Connecting to SAS Xpt

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to SAS Xpt and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAS Xpt provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAS Xpt supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for SAS Xpt supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

SAS Xpt Version Support

The provider supports connections to v5 SAS Transport Files (.xpt) by directly parsing data from XPT files. leverages the SAS Xpt API to enable bidirectional access to SAS Xpt.
