OAuth is only supported when connecting with UseWQL. This option is enabled by default.

Custom Credentials

The adapter does not embed Workday credentials, so it is necessary to register an app to obtain the OAuth properties. See Creating a Custom OAuth Application for details.

After registering an OAuth app, please refer to Custom Credentials for connection instructions.

Headless Machines

To authenticate with a user account on a headless server, you need to authenticate from another machine. See Headless Machines for a walkthrough for configuring headless OAuth.
