Examples
- Return all columns:
SELECT * FROM Person
- Rename a column:
SELECT "FirstName" AS MY_FirstName FROM Person
- Cast a column's data as a different data type:
SELECT CAST(AnnualRevenue AS VARCHAR) AS Str_AnnualRevenue FROM Person
- Search data:
SELECT * FROM Person WHERE City = 'Miami'
- The APIs support the following operators in the WHERE clause: =, >, <, >=, <=, <>, !=, IN, NOT IN, AND, OR, NOT, IS NULL, IS NOT NULL.
SELECT * FROM Person WHERE City = 'Miami';
- Return the number of items matching the query criteria:
SELECT COUNT(*) AS MyCount FROM Person
- Return the number of unique items matching the query criteria:
SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT FirstName) FROM Person
- Return the unique items matching the query criteria:
SELECT DISTINCT FirstName FROM Person
- Sort a result set in ascending order:
SELECT unid, FirstName FROM Person ORDER BY FirstName ASC
