Establishing a Connection
Configure a Connection Profile
From the CData ribbon, click Get Data and select From ADP connection/s to launch the CData Query window. To setup a new connection, you will have to click the New ADP Connection button. Here you can set the connection settings, test the connection, and save the connection profile.
Connecting to ADP
To connect to ADP, set the following properties:
- OAuthClientId: The client Id of the custom OAuth application you obtained from ADP.
- OAuthClientSecret: The custom OAuth application's client secret.
- SSLClientCert: The client certificate you created earlier (see Before You Connect).
- SSLClientCertPassword: The client certificate's password.
- UseUAT: The add-in makes requests to the production environment by default. If using a developer account, set UseUAT = true.
- RowScanDepth: The maximum number of rows to scan for the custom fields columns available in the table (default=100). Setting a high value may decrease performance.
Connection Properties
The Connection properties describe the various options that can be used to establish a connection.
