Remarks

ShipStation exposes two distinct APIs, each with its own data model and authentication scheme.

The available options are:

• ShipStation: Connects to the original ShipStation API. Provides full table coverage including Customers, Orders, Shipments, Tags, and related entities. Authentication uses HTTP Basic auth, so both APIKey and APISecret are required.
• ShipStationV2: Connects to the newer ShipStation API. Exposes tables including Manifests, Pickups, Inventory, Labels, Shipments, and more. Only APIKey is required for authentication.

For new connections, ShipStationV2 is recommended unless you require tables that are available only in the original API, such as Customers or Tags.

The default is ShipStation so that existing connections continue to work without changes.
