Process of Download Build Logs

Azure DevOps allows only a small subset of columns to be used in the EXEC query. These columns can typically be used with only = comparison. The available columns for DownloadBuildLogs are ProjectId, BuildId, LogId, StartLine, EndLine, FileLocation For example:

EXECUTE DownloadBuildLogs ProjectId = '837ccd31-8159-4db3-b8ce-de0c36d2a0bf', BuildId = 3, LogId = 1, FileLocation = 'C:\azuredevops'

Input

Name Type Required Description
ProjectId String True Id of the project.
BuildId Integer True Id of the build.
LogId Integer True Id of the log.
StartLine Integer False The start line.
EndLine Integer False The end line.
FileLocation String False Location of the file.
Encoding String False The FileData input encoding type.

The allowed values are NONE, BASE64.

The default value is BASE64.

Result Set Columns

Name Type Description
Status String Stored procedure execution status.
FileData String If the FileLocation and FileStream are not provided, this contains the content of the file.
