The CData ODBC Driver for Azure Data Lake Storage is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Linux operating systems. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.
Creating a DSN on Your Platform
The following guides show how to use the standard tools to configure data source names (DSN).

Windows DSN Configuration shows how to configure a DSN with the Microsoft ODBC Administrator tool.

Linux DSN Configuration shows how to configure DSNs with several major driver managers on Linux.
Azure Data Lake Storage Version Support
The driver supports Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 only. Gen1 was deprecated by Microsoft in 2024 and is no longer supported.
