Parameterized Statements
The following code example shows how to bind parameters to create parameterized statements.
Single-Use Statements
The Query and Exec functions both accept additional parameters for binding query parameters to values.
rows, _ := db.Query("SELECT subject, location_displayName FROM Teams WHERE Id = ?", "Jq74mCczmFXk1tC10GB") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( subject string location_displayName string ) rows.Scan(&subject, &location_displayName) fmt.Printf("subject = %s, location_displayName = %s\n", subject, location_displayName) }
Reusable Statements
The Prepare function creates prepared Stmt objects, which can be re-used across multiple Query and Exec calls.
stmt, _ := db.Prepare("SELECT subject, location_displayName FROM Teams WHERE Id = ?") defer stmt.Close() rows, _ := stmt.Query("Jq74mCczmFXk1tC10GB 1") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( subject string location_displayName string ) rows1.Scan(&subject, &location_displayName) fmt.Printf("subject = %s, location_displayName = %s\n", subject, location_displayName) } rows, _ = stmt.Query("Jq74mCczmFXk1tC10GB 2") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( subject string location_displayName string ) rows2.Scan(&subject, &location_displayName) fmt.Printf("subject = %s, location_displayName = %s\n", subject, location_displayName) }
