The CData Excel Add-In for WordPress models entities in the WordPress API as tables, views, and stored procedures. These are defined in schema files, which are configuration files that you can customize with a text editor.

Stored Procedures

Stored Procedures are function-like interfaces to the data source. They can be used to search, update, and modify information in the data source.

Using Query Processing

The add-in offloads as much of the SELECT statement processing as possible to the WordPress APIs and then processes the rest of the query within the add-in. The following sections document API limitations and requirements.
