ADO.NET Provider for WordPress

Build 24.0.9060

Categories

Create, update, delete, and query Categories to use for categorizing your posts.

Table Specific Information

SELECT

The provider uses the WordPress API to process some of the filters. The provider processes other filters client-side within the provider. You can turn off the client-side execution of the query by setting SupportEnhancedSQL to false in which case any search criteria that refers to other columns will cause inconsistent data. For example, the following queries are processed server side.

SELECT * FROM Categories WHERE Parent = 0
SELECT * FROM Categories ORDER BY Id
SELECT * FROM Categories WHERE Id IN ('130', '129')
Also, ordering by Count, Description and Name, is handled by the WordPress API.
