The server uses the Act! CRM API to process search criteria that refer to the supported fields. The server processes other filters client-side within the server. For example, the following queries are processed server side: 

SELECT * FROM Companies WHERE Id = '12345'

SELECT * FROM Companies WHERE Name = 'TSS company'

Insert

To insert a company, you need to specify the Company Name 

INSERT INTO Companies (Name) VALUES ('New Company')

Update

Any column where ReadOnly=False can be updated. Specify the Company Id when updating a group 

UPDATE Companies SET AddressCity = 'Bangalore', AddressCountry = 'India' WHERE Id = '12345'

Delete

Companies can be deleted by providing an Id and issuing a DELETE statement. 

DELETE FROM Companies WHERE Id = '12345'
