CData JDBC Driver for Act! CRM models entities in the Act! CRM Premium APIs as relational Views. The driver models Act! Premium on-premises and Act! Premium Cloud accounts as relational databases, surfacing Contacts, Activities, Opportunities, and other objects as database tables. Act! Premium for Desktop is also supported; however, a subscription is required to use the API.
The views are defined in schema files, .rsd files with a simple format that makes them easy to edit. Set the Location property to the path to the folder containing the .rsd files.
Using Collaborative Query Processing
The driver offloads as much of the SELECT statement processing as possible to the Act! CRM APIs and then processes the rest of the query within the driver.
