Updates Tableau CRM data.

Syntax

Update-TableauCRM [parameters]

Remarks

The Update-TableauCRM cmdlet allows you to use a syntax similar to SQL UPDATE statements to update Tableau CRM data.

$conn = Connect-TableauCRM -OAuthClientId 'abc123' -OAuthClientSecret 'def456' -CallbackURL 'http://localhost:33333'
Update-TableauCRM -Connection $conn -Table "Dataset_Opportunity" -Columns @("CloseDate") -Values @("12-31-2017") -Id "25"

The Where parameter can also be used to specify the primary key of the table:

Update-TableauCRM -Connection $conn -Table "Dataset_Opportunity" -Columns @("CloseDate") -Values @("12-31-2017") -Where "Id = '25'"

The primary key can also be passed to the cmdlet along the pipeline:

Select-TableauCRM -Connection $conn -Table Dataset_Opportunity -Where "StageName = 'Closed Won'" | Update-TableauCRM -Columns @("StageName") -Values @("Closed Won 2")
