Connecting to Apache Hive

Other available connection properties can be used to configure other aspects of the connector capabilities.
Python Version Support
The CData Python Connector for Apache Hive can be installed and used in various Python 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, and 3.11 distributions.
Apache Hive Version Support
The connector models Apache Hive instances as relational databases. Hive versions 0.11.0 and above are supported. The connector leverages the HiveServer2 Thrift API, to enable bidirectional access to Apache Hive data through SQL.
