Miscellaneous
This section provides a complete list of the Miscellaneous properties you can configure in the connection settings for this provider.
Property | Description |
FlattenArrays | Set FlattenArrays to the number of array elements you want to return as table columns. Otherwise, arrays are returned as strings of JSON. |
FlattenObjects | Set FlattenObjects to true to flatten object properties into columns of their own. Otherwise, nested objects are returned as strings of JSON. |
MaxRows | Specifies the maximum rows returned for queries without aggregation or GROUP BY. |
Other | Specifies additional hidden properties for specific use cases. These are not required for typical provider functionality. Use a semicolon-separated list to define multiple properties. |
PseudoColumns | Specifies the pseudocolumns to expose as table columns. Use the format 'TableName=ColumnName;TableName=ColumnName'. The default is an empty string, which disables this property. |
Readonly | Toggles read-only access to HarperDB from the provider. |
RefreshCachedSchemaAfterDDL | Whether or not the driver should refresh cached metadata, whether cached in memory or cached otherwise as configured by the driver's caching settings, after the successful execution of the driver's stored procedures, which all affect the schema in HarperDB itself. |
RowScanDepth | The maximum number of rows to scan when generating table metadata. Set this property to gain more control over how the provider detects data types. |
Timeout | Specifies the maximum time, in seconds, that the provider waits for a server response before throwing a timeout error. The default is 60 seconds. Set to 0 to disable the timeout. |
TypeDetectionScheme | Comma-separated options for how the provider will scan the data to determine the fields and datatypes in each document collection. |
UserDefinedViews | Specifies a filepath to a JSON configuration file defining custom views. The provider automatically detects and uses the views specified in this file. |
