A SELECT statement can consist of the following basic clauses.

Examples

Return all columns:
```
SELECT * FROM Subscriber
```

Rename a column:

SELECT "Status" AS MY_Status FROM Subscriber

Cast a column's data as a different data type:

SELECT CAST(AnnualRevenue AS VARCHAR) AS Str_AnnualRevenue FROM Subscriber

Search data:

SELECT * FROM Subscriber WHERE EmailAddress = 'john.doe@example.com'

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs support the following operators in the WHERE clause: =, >, <, >=, <=, <>, !=, IN, AND, OR.

Return the number of items matching the query criteria:

SELECT COUNT(*) AS MyCount FROM Subscriber

Return the number of unique items matching the query criteria:

Return the unique items matching the query criteria:

Sort a result set in ascending order:

SELECT Id, Status FROM Subscriber  ORDER BY Status ASC
