SlackLists

Query, create, update, and delete Slack Lists. Slack Lists are structured data tables within a Slack workspace that let teams organize information (such as projects, tasks, requests, or any custom dataset) into rows and columns with typed fields like text, select, user, date, and to-do tracking.

Select

The SlackLists table exposes the Slack Lists in the workspace. The add-in uses the Slack API to retrieve list metadata, columns, views, and sharing details. All filters except Id are processed client-side; Id supports server-side filtering with the = operator and with IN (which fans out one API call per Id).

For example, the following queries are processed server side by the Slack APIs:

Insert

Title is required for inserting a list. Title, DescriptionBlocks, Schema, TodoMode, CopyFromListId, and IncludeCopiedListRecords are the only columns that can be set on insert. Schema and CopyFromListId are mutually exclusive.

Update

The SlackLists table allows updates for columns Title, DescriptionBlocks, and TodoMode when Id is specified. Schema is not modifiable after creation.

Delete

A Slack List can be deleted by providing its Id.

Pseudocolumns

Pseudocolumn fields are used in the WHERE clause of SELECT statements and offer more granular control over the data returned from the data source.
