SSIS Components for Slack

SetListAccess

Grants read, write, or owner access to a Slack List for the specified users or channels. Exactly one of UserIds or ChannelIds must be provided.

Stored Procedure Specific Information

SetListAccess grants read, write, or owner access on a Slack List to a user or a channel. ListId and AccessLevel are required. Exactly one of UserIds or ChannelIds must be provided. The required scope to execute this stored procedure is lists:write. The Slack API accepts only a single user Id (or a single channel Id) per call — to grant access to multiple entities, run the procedure once per entity.

The Success output reports false when the Slack API returns failed_to_update_user_ids or failed_to_update_channel_ids in the response (for example, when the caller lacks permission to modify access for the specified entity).

For example:

EXECUTE SetListAccess ListId = 'F099C0D2RBM', AccessLevel = 'write', UserIds = 'U064PUU751Q'

EXECUTE SetListAccess ListId = 'F099C0D2RBM', AccessLevel = 'read', ChannelIds = 'C01KWCPJJ68'

EXECUTE SetListAccess ListId = 'F099C0D2RBM', AccessLevel = 'owner', UserIds = 'U099WKJGT0R'
