Connecting to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Version Support

The provider supports read/write access to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through OData Web services.
