This property determines whether the connector directs the FTP server to operate in passive mode.

If this property is set to true, the connector sends the PASV command to the server. In passive mode, all connections are initiated by the client, which helps avoid firewall restrictions that block incoming server connections to high-numbered ports.

If this property is set to false, the connector uses the PORT command, allowing the server to initiate data connections back to the client.

Passive mode is recommended when the client is behind a firewall or on a network that blocks incoming connections.
