Connecting to Google Ads

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Google Ads and configure any necessary connection properties. You can also configure provider capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Settings section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.

Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Google Ads provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Google Ads supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Google Ads supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Google Ads Version Support

The provider provides a relational view of Google Ads data for your Google account or Google Apps domain. The provider includes tables containing often-used dimensions and metrics; you can customize the table schemas or write your own to combine any valid set of dimensions and metrics.
