Specifies the authentication method the provider uses when authenticating to the proxy server specified in the ProxyServer connection property.

Remarks

Note: The add-in only uses this ProxyAuthScheme when ProxyAutoDetect is set to False. If ProxyAutoDetect is set to True (the default), the add-in instead uses the authentication method specified in your system proxy settings.

Supported authentication types :

• BASIC: The add-in performs HTTP basic authentication.
• DIGEST: The add-in performs HTTP digest authentication.
• NTLM: The add-in retrieves an NTLM token.
• NEGOTIATE: The add-in retrieves an NTLM or Kerberos token based on the applicable protocol for authentication.
• NONE: Signifies that the ProxyServer does not require authentication.

For all values other than NONE, you must also set the ProxyUser and ProxyPassword connection properties.
