BodyFormat
Specifies whether the provider sends the message body as HTML or as plain text.
Possible Values
Text, HTMLData Type
string
Default Value
"HTML"
Remarks
When set to HTML, the provider sends the message body with a text/html content type. When set to Text, the provider sends the message body with a text/plain content type. In either case, the body is encoded as UTF-8.
The stored procedures that send or create messages (SendMailMessage, ImportMessage, and ReplyToMailMessage) also expose a Format input with the same values. A value supplied to that input overrides this connection property for that single call, so you can set the format you use most often here and choose the other format for an individual message.
BodyFormat is the intended long-term replacement for the deprecated IsHTML connection property. When both are configured, BodyFormat takes priority over IsHTML.
