Specifies the authentication method the provider uses when authenticating to the proxy server specified in the ProxyServer connection property.

Remarks

Note: The add-in only uses this ProxyAuthScheme when ProxyAutoDetect is set to False. If ProxyAutoDetect is set to True, which is the default, the add-in instead uses the authentication method specified in your system proxy settings.

The authentication type can be one of the following:

• BASIC: The add-in performs HTTP BASIC authentication.
• DIGEST: The add-in performs HTTP DIGEST authentication.
• NTLM: The add-in retrieves an NTLM token.
• NEGOTIATE: The add-in retrieves an NTLM or Kerberos token based on the applicable protocol for authentication.
• NONE: Set this when the ProxyServer does not require authentication.

For all values other than "NONE", you must also set the ProxyUser and ProxyPassword connection properties.
