UploadFile

Uploads a JSON file from a local directory to the specified destination, such as cloud or remote storage.

Procedure-Specific Information

The DestinationPath input accepts paths relative to the URI provided in the connection string.

If URI is set to: gs://test-bucket/folder2 and DestinationPath='file1.txt', the file will be uploaded to /folder2/file1.txt.

The procedure is executed as below:

    EXEC UploadFile LocalPath='C:/temp/test.txt',  DestinationPath='/hello-cdata.txt'
    EXEC UploadFile InputData='eGN2eGN2eGN2eHp6IGRzZmFzZGZkZmc=',  DestinationPath='CData/hello-cdata.txt'

Input

Name Type Accepts Input Streams Description
DestinationPath String False Specifies the full destination path where the JSON file will be uploaded. The path is relative to the directory defined in the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) connection property.
LocalPath String False Specifies the absolute path of the local file to be uploaded to the target destination.
InputStream Binary True Provides an input stream used to read the content of the file being uploaded. This input is used only when LocalPath is not specified.
InputData String False Contains the file content as a base64-encoded string. This input is used only when neither LocalPath nor InputStream is provided.

Result Set Columns

Name Type Description
Success Bool Indicates whether the file upload operation completed successfully. If the value is 'false', additional details are provided in the Details output parameter.
Details String Provides diagnostic information if the upload operation fails. When the upload succeeds, this field is returned as NULL.
