Remarks

This property controls how files are divided when uploading to Google Cloud Storage (GCS) using the UploadObject stored procedure or PUT...INTO statements. The file is sent in sequential chunks, each of the specified size.

The default (and minimum) value of 5 MB suits most upload scenarios. Increasing this value reduces the total number of upload requests but increases the amount of data that must be sent per request, which can improve throughput on high-bandwidth connections when uploading large files.
