WorkOrder

Represents work orders used to track service requests and field work, including customer and project associations, external billing details, and work order type, state, and problem code classifications.

Table-Specific Information

When LocationsId is set, the connector includes the location identifier in the authentication header sent to Sage Intacct. Sage Intacct then scopes WorkOrder records to the entity associated with that location identifier, which affects both SELECT and UPDATE operations as described below.

SELECT

SELECT operations against the WorkOrder table are supported with UseLegacy set to either True or False. When LocationsId is set, SELECT returns only the WorkOrder records that belong to the matching entity.

UPDATE

UPDATE is only supported when UseLegacy is set to False. When LocationsId is set, attempting to update a record that belongs to a different entity returns an error from Sage Intacct: 
The selected Entity does not match your current entity.

The following example illustrates how to update a WorkOrder record: 

UPDATE WorkOrder SET Description = 'Updated work order description' WHERE id = '<work-order-id>'

Note: Write operations are not supported through the Legacy API. To perform INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE operations, set UseLegacy to False.
