Connecting to Sage 50 UK
Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Sage 50 UK and configure any necessary connection properties in a JDBC URL. You can also configure driver capabilities through the available Connection properties, from data modeling to firewall traversal. The Advanced Settings section shows how to set up more advanced configurations and troubleshoot connection errors.
Connecting to JDBC Data Sources
The CData JDBC Driver for Sage 50 UK provides full support for integration into Java applications, including Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, and many other Integrated Development Environments, as well as J2EE applications running on a Java server such as Tomcat. You can find JSP, console, and swing demos in the installation folder.
Java Version Support
To deploy the driver JAR file, you must have Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.8 or higher installed on your system.Sage 50 UK Version Support
The driver models data in Sage 50 UK 2012 and above as relational tables. Note that for v28 and later, you must install the Sdata adapter prior to using Sage 50 UK driver. See the Sage 50 UK documentation for more information.See Also
