Create, retrieve, list, and delete evidence for a Square dispute. Requires filtering by DisputeId.

The add-in uses the Square API to filter the results by the following columns and operators while the rest of the filter is executed client-side within the add-in.

Retrieve all evidence for a specific dispute:

SELECT * FROM DisputeEvidence WHERE DisputeId = 'dispute_id_here'

Retrieve a specific piece of evidence:

SELECT * FROM DisputeEvidence WHERE Id = 'evidence_id_here' AND DisputeId = 'dispute_id_here'

Insert

To create dispute evidence, you must specify the DisputeId and IdempotencyKey columns. Use EvidenceText for text-based evidence or EvidenceType to classify the evidence.

INSERT INTO DisputeEvidence (DisputeId, EvidenceType, EvidenceText, IdempotencyKey) VALUES ('dispute_id_here', 'RECEIPT', 'Order receipt text here', 'unique-idempotency-key')

Delete

Delete a piece of dispute evidence by providing the Id and DisputeId:

DELETE FROM DisputeEvidence WHERE Id = 'evidence_id_here' AND DisputeId = 'dispute_id_here'

DisputeId [KEY]	String	False	The ID of the dispute the evidence is associated with.
EvidenceType	String	False	The type of the evidence. The allowed values are GENERIC_EVIDENCE, ONLINE_OR_APP_ACCESS_LOG, AUTHORIZATION_DOCUMENTATION, CANCELLATION_OR_REFUND_DOCUMENTATION, CARDHOLDER_COMMUNICATION, CARDHOLDER_INFORMATION, PURCHASE_ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, DUPLICATE_CHARGE_DOCUMENTATION, PRODUCT_OR_SERVICE_DESCRIPTION, RECEIPT, SERVICE_RECEIVED_DOCUMENTATION, PROOF_OF_DELIVERY_DOCUMENTATION, RELATED_TRANSACTION_DOCUMENTATION, REBUTTAL_EXPLANATION, TRACKING_NUMBER.
EvidenceText	String	False	Raw text content of the evidence. Maximum 500 characters. Used when creating text-based evidence via POST /v2/disputes/{dispute_id}/evidence-text.
EvidenceFile	String	True	File-based evidence details. Supports image (HEIC, HEIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF), PDF, and TXT formats. Contains filename and filetype.
UploadedAt	Datetime	True	The time when the evidence was uploaded, in RFC 3339 format.

Pseudocolumns

Pseudo column fields are used in the WHERE clause of SELECT statements (unless stated otherwise) and offer a more granular control over the tuples that are returned from the data source.
