OAuth

This section provides a complete list of the OAuth properties you can configure in the connection settings for this provider.


PropertyDescription
OAuthClientIdSpecifies the client ID (also known as the consumer key) assigned to your custom OAuth application. This ID is required to identify the application to the OAuth authorization server during authentication.
OAuthClientSecretSpecifies the client secret assigned to your custom OAuth application. This confidential value is used to authenticate the application to the OAuth authorization server. (Custom OAuth applications only.).
CallbackURLIdentifies the URL users return to after authenticating to Microsoft Project via OAuth (Custom OAuth applications only).
ScopeThe scopes used for the OAuth or AzureAD flow. Should be separated with a whitespace. For the OAuth flow, it defaults to the following: ProjectAdmin.Manage Projects.Write ProjectResources.Write ProjectReporting.Read. A list of the available scopes and their aliases can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/sp-add-ins/authorization-code-oauth-flow-for-sharepoint-add-ins?redirectedfrom=MSDN#permission-scope-aliases-and-the-oauthauthorizeaspx-page. For the AzureAD flow, it defaults to the following: offline_access https://MyOrganization.sharepoint.com/.default . A list of the available Azure scopes can be found under API Permissions > SharePoint when customizing any app in the Azure Portal > App Registrations page.
StateOptional value for representing extra OAuth state information.
