You can use sqlQuery method to execute data modification statements.

INSERT

To insert updates:

sqlQuery("INSERT INTO Customer (Contact) VALUES ('John')")

UPDATE

To retrieve updates:

sqlQuery("UPDATE Customer SET Contact = 'John' WHERE Name = 'CData, Inc.'")

DELETE

To delete updates:
