Connecting from RAD Studio

The CData FireDAC Components for Microsoft Dynamics NAV implement the standard FireDAC classes and integrate Microsoft Dynamics NAV into RAD Studio wizards. You can access the components from the RAD Studio Tool Palette and use the components alongside standard FireDAC classes like TFDQuery, TFDManager, and TFDConnection.

RAD Studio Version Support

RAD Studio 10.4 (Sydney) and above are supported.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Version Support

The component supports read/write access to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013+ through OData Web services. To access data through the API, you will need to publish the pages you want to work with as Web services: In the Web or Windows Dynamics NAV client, search for 'Web services.' To add a page to the list of the pages exposed, select the Object Type and Object Id.

Dependencies

CData FireDAC components require the 2010 version of the VC++ (x86/x64) redistributable package that matches the bitness of RAD Studio being used. You can download this from Microsoft:
