Procedure for Updates

You can use separate statements to execute data modification statements. Once you create the statement, you can call its executeNonQueryMethod and retrieve the number of affected rows.

INSERT

To insert updates:

db.open("...", (err) => {
    db.prepare("INSERT INTO CompanyStatusUpdates (Comment) VALUES ('Access LinkedIn data with SQL!')", (err, stmt) => {
        stmt.executeNonQuery((err, affected) => {
            console.log("Affected: " + affected);
        });
    });
});
