This takes precedence over other proxy settings, so you'll need to set ProxyAutoDetect to FALSE in order use custom proxy settings.

NOTE: When this property is set to True, the proxy used is determined as follows:

• The adapter performs a search from the JVM properties (http.proxy, https.proxy, socksProxy, etc.).
• In the case that the JVM properties don't exist,, the adapter performs a search in java.home/lib/net.properties.
• In the case that java.net.useSystemProxies is set to True, the adapter performs a search in the SystemProxy.
• On Windows, the proxy settings are read from the Internet Options in the registry, specifically the registry key HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\. On Windows 10 and later, this corresponds to the Proxy Settings found in the Windows Settings.
  • Note that these settings apply only to the current user of the machine. If you're running an application as a service, the adapter will not read your own user's settings. You must instead manually supply the proxy settings in the adapter's connection properties.
