Automatic Installation

For Windows, the installer should automatically install the license. If the installation fails or you need to install the license on an offline computer, you can do a manual install instead.

Manual Installation

For Mac/Unix, you need to install a license from the command line via cdata.jdbc.azureactivedirectory.jar. To do a manual install, execute the following command:

java -jar cdata.jdbc.azureactivedirectory.jar --license

This creates a cdata.jdbc.azureactivedirectory.lic that must be located next to the .jar file or in the cdata directory under the user's home directory.

In certain cases, you may need to do a manual installation on Windows. The procedure is the same.
