BASIC, DIGEST, NONE, NEGOTIATE, NTLM, PROPRIETARYData Type
string
Default Value
"BASIC"
Remarks
Note: The connector only uses this ProxyAuthScheme when ProxyAutoDetect is set to False. If ProxyAutoDetect is set to True, which is the default, the connector instead uses the authentication method specified in your system proxy settings.
The authentication type can be one of the following:
- BASIC: The connector performs HTTP BASIC authentication.
- DIGEST: The connector performs HTTP DIGEST authentication.
- NTLM: The connector retrieves an NTLM token.
- NEGOTIATE: The connector retrieves an NTLM or Kerberos token based on the applicable protocol for authentication.
- NONE: Set this when the ProxyServer does not require authentication.
For all values other than "NONE", you must also set the ProxyUser and ProxyPassword connection properties.
If you need to use another authentication type, such as SOCKS 5 authentication, see FirewallType.
