The CData ODBC Driver for xBase is a standards-based ODBC driver with editions for Windows and Linux operating systems. The following sections show how to create an ODBC data source and query data.

Creating a DSN on Your Platform

xBase Version Support

The driver enables you to connect with .dbf files including those used in FoxPro 2.6 and Clipper. The driver supports the dBase III dialect. The driver requires access to a local file folder containing the table files.
