Downloads a media file attached to a Twilio message. Returns the file content as Base64, writes it to a local path, or streams it to an output stream.

Stored Procedure-Specific Information

Downloads a media file attached to a Twilio message. To run this procedure, you must specify MessageSid and MediaSid.

By default, the procedure returns the file content as Base64 in the FileData output column. Specify LocalPath to write the file to disk instead, or use FileStream to stream the file data to an output stream. The following example returns the media file as Base64:

The following example writes the media file to a specific file path:
