Tableau Version Support

The connector supports Tableau Desktop 2020.1 or later and Tableau Prep 2020.4.1 or later. Versions between 2020.1 and 2020.3 of Tableau Desktop are supported via the legacy connector file (cdata.paypal.legacy.taco) and versions 2020.3 and higher are supported using the modern connector file (cdata.paypal.taco).

For older versions of Tableau, use the CData ODBC Driver for PayPal or the CData JDBC Driver for PayPal to connect.

PayPal Version Support

The connector uses the PayPal SOAP API to surface views of transactions and the REST API to surface all other views.
