Parameterized Statements
The following code example shows how to bind parameters to create parameterized statements.
Single-Use Statements
The Query and Exec functions both accept additional parameters for binding query parameters to values.
rows, _ := db.Query("SELECT sys_id, priority FROM incident WHERE category = ?", "request") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( sys_id string priority string ) rows.Scan(&sys_id, &priority) fmt.Printf("sys_id = %s, priority = %s\n", sys_id, priority) }
Reusable Statements
The Prepare function creates prepared Stmt objects, which can be re-used across multiple Query and Exec calls.
stmt, _ := db.Prepare("SELECT sys_id, priority FROM incident WHERE category = ?") defer stmt.Close() rows, _ := stmt.Query("request 1") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( sys_id string priority string ) rows1.Scan(&sys_id, &priority) fmt.Printf("sys_id = %s, priority = %s\n", sys_id, priority) } rows, _ = stmt.Query("request 2") defer rows.Close() for rows.Next() { var ( sys_id string priority string ) rows2.Scan(&sys_id, &priority) fmt.Printf("sys_id = %s, priority = %s\n", sys_id, priority) }
