Connecting to Microsoft Bing

Establishing a Connection shows how to authenticate to Microsoft Bing and configure any necessary connection properties. Connecting from Visual Studio

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Bing provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Visual Studio. The provider is registered as an ADO.NET provider with Visual Studio, allowing for integration with visual designer tools, Server Explorer, and ADO.NET data source configuration wizards.

Visual Studio Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Bing supports Visual Studio versions 2012 and above.

.NET Version Support

The CData ADO.NET Provider for Microsoft Bing supports .NET Framework 4.0 and above as well as .NET Standard 2.0.

Microsoft Bing Version Support

The provider leverages API versions v5 and v7 of the Bing and Cognitive domains to enable bidirectional access to Microsoft Bing data.
