Configure a Connection Profile
From the CData ribbon, click Get Data and select From Google Search connection/s to launch the CData Query window. To setup a new connection, you will have to click the New Google Search Connection button. Here you can set the connection settings, test the connection, and save the connection profile.
Connecting to Google Search
Provide the following connection properties before adding the authentication properties.
- CustomSearchId: Obtain this value by signing into Google Custom Search Engine and creating a new search engine.
- APIKey: You must enable the Custom Search API in the Google API Console.
