Creates, modifies, deletes, and queries the configured issue custom field options in Jira.

Table-Specific Information

In Jira Cloud, this object is exposed as a table and supports CREATE, UPDATE, and DELETE (CUD) operations. In Jira Data Center, this object is exposed as a view instead of a table, and CUD operations are not supported.

Jira Cloud

To execute a query in Jira Cloud, you must specify both the CustomFieldId and the Context.

Jira Data Center

To execute a query in Jira Data Center, you must specify the CustomFieldId if you are not using the OAuth 2.0 AuthScheme.

INSERT

Insert a custom field option by specifying the following fields:

• Name
• CustomFieldId
• Context

INSERT INTO IssueCustomFieldOptions (CustomFieldId, Context, Name) VALUES ('customfield_10107', '10307', 'NewAddedOption');

NOTE: This statement is supported only for Jira Cloud instances.

UPDATE

Update a custom field option by specifying the OptionId, CustomFieldId, and Context in the WHERE clause.

UPDATE [IssueCustomFieldOptions] SET Name = 'NewUpdatedOption123', OptionId = '10866' WHERE CustomFieldId = 'customfield_10107' AND Context = '10307' AND OptionId = '10866';

DELETE

Delete a custom field option by specifying the OptionId, CustomFieldId, and Context in the WHERE clause.
