CData Python Connector for Jira

Build 26.0.9770

RateLimitTimeout

Specifies the maximum amount of time, in seconds, the provider waits and retries requests after a Jira API Rate Limit has been reached before failing the operation.

Data Type

int

Default Value

120

Remarks

When Jira API Rate Limit is exceeded, the connector automatically retries the request until the limit resets. With the Jira API's newer point-based rate limiting system, limits may reset on an hourly basis. In some cases, this could result in extended wait times (for example, 20-30 minutes) before the request can succeed.

This property allows users to control how long the connector continues retrying after a rate limit is encountered. If the specified duration is exceeded and the rate limit has not yet reset, the connector terminates the operation and returns an error instead of continuing to wait.
