Data Model
The CData Python Connector for Highrise models the Highrise API as relational tables, views, and stored procedures. The connector uses the Highrise API to process supported filters. The connector processes other filters client-side within the connector.
Tables
The CData Python Connector for Highrise models writable Highrise APIs as easy-to-access Tables. Most tables are defined in simple, text-based schema files. However, some tables, such as Companies, Deals, and People, are dynamic. When you connect, the connector gets the metadata for dynamic tables by calling the appropriate Web services.
Views
Views are read-only tables. Typically, data that cannot be modified is represented in views.
Stored Procedures
The connector also surfaces Stored Procedures, function-like interfaces to Highrise that surface additional capabilities of the API.
