Set this to a whole number greater than or equal to -1:

• 0: The CategoryTree table returns only the root category node; no child nodes are exposed.
• 1: The CategoryTree table returns the root node plus one level of children immediately below it.
• A value N greater than 1: The CategoryTree table returns the root node plus up to N levels of children below it.
• -1: The CategoryTree table returns every level of the category tree, with no limit on recursion depth.

The default value, 3, limits expansion to three levels below the root node. This bounds the size and latency of the result set for category trees with many levels, while still surfacing enough of the hierarchy for most use cases.
