CData Tableau Connector for Microsoft Excel

Overview

The CData Tableau Connector for Microsoft Excel offers self-service integration with Tableau. The connector facilitates live access to Microsoft Excel data in Tableau using the connection window. The connector also provides direct querying to visualize and analyze Microsoft Excel data.

The connector supports Tableau Desktop 2020.1 or later and Tableau Prep 2020.4.1 or later. For older versions of Tableau, the CData ODBC Driver for Microsoft Excel or the CData JDBC Driver for Microsoft Excel can serve as an alternative means of connecting to Microsoft Excel data in Tableau.
