CData Tableau Connector for Act-On
The CData Tableau Connector for Act-On offers self-service integration with Tableau. The connector facilitates live access to Act-On data in Tableau using the connection window. The connector also provides direct querying to visualize and analyze Act-On data.
Note that you must have Tableau 2020.3 or greater installed as well as an up-to-date version of Java. For older versions of Tableau, the CData ODBC Driver for Act-On or the CData JDBC Driver for Act-On can serve as an alternative means of connecting to Act-On data in Tableau.
Once a connection has been configured, see Getting Data to set up a data source that offers live connectivity to Act-On.
Using the Connector
Refer to Visualizing Data to create and work with Tableau visualizations.
See Defining Custom Views to construct virtual tables whose contents are determined by a pre-configured query, which will then be discovered among existing table metadata.
See Data Model for information on the available database objects and how to use SQL to work with Act-On APIs. This section provides more detailed information on querying specific Act-On entities.
