Update-FreshBooks Cmdlet

Parameters   Output Objects

Updates FreshBooks data.

Syntax

Update-FreshBooks [parameters]

Remarks

The Update-FreshBooks cmdlet allows you to use a syntax similar to SQL UPDATE statements to update FreshBooks data.

$conn = Connect-$psname; -CompanyName 'MyCompany' -Token 'MyToken'
Update-FreshBooks -Connection $conn -Table "Clients" -Columns @("Username") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Id "20050"
The Where parameter can also be used to specify the primary key of the table:
Update-FreshBooks -Connection $conn -Table "Clients" -Columns @("Username") -Values @("Jon Doe") -Where "Id = '20050'"
The primary key can also be passed to the cmdlet along the pipeline:
Select-FreshBooks -Connection $conn -Table Clients -Where "Email = 'support@mycompany.com'" | Update-FreshBooks -Columns @("Email") -Values @("support@mycompany.com 2")
