Data ModelCData JDBC Driver for Microsoft Project 2019 - Build 19.0.7354
The CData JDBC Driver for Microsoft Project 2019 models Microsoft Project entities in relational Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures. Depending on the Schema selected, different tables will be displayed.
Connecting with the CSOM Schema
The CSOM schema (default) can be used for full CRUD operations. However, metadata is predefined and custom fields are not available.
Connecting with the OData Schema
The OData schema can only be used for reading data, but metadata can be obtained at runtime and thus will contain custom fields.
Collaborative Query Processing
The driver offloads as much of the SELECT statement processing as possible to Microsoft Project and then processes the rest of the query in memory; API limitations and requirements are documented in this section.
See SupportEnhancedSQL for more information on how the driver circumvents API limitations with in-memory client-side processing.
Stored Procedures are function-like interfaces to the data source. They can be used to search, update, and modify information in the data source.
